From 7 November to 13 November the Agritechnica ' 99 took place in Hanover. In the context of the Precision Farming Special graduate students of IKB-Duernast worked in the Precision Farming stand of the DLG with its information islands. Visitors could inform thereselves about the different areas of precise agriculture. If they were interessed in the systems, they could go straight to the companies around the DLG consulting zone and look for specific informations and prices of the systems. The IKB-Duernast was visualized on a poster and distributed as handbills with resuming information to interested people. Altogether regarded, the exhibition can be analysed as full success for the IKB-Duernast and the research activities.
