8 May 2000: Maize planting for IKB-Duernast was finished

Maize (for silage) was planted without tillage into the frozen cover crop mustard (seeded last summer) on 20 ha last week. A Fendt Favorit Vario 714 was used together with a Kleine Maize LBS Multicorn Synchrodrive planter. The System was controlled by an agrocom. ACT 60 terminal, based on LBS. The planting (variety "Banguy") covered a maize strip attempt (field D1) with different densities (7, 10, 13 plants/m²) and several fertilization levels, whereby during the planting 40kg N and 83 kg P were applicated. Furthermore a maize plot attempt (field Krohberg) with different plant densities and fertilization levels was planted, as well as the remainder surfaces around the testings (density 10 plants/m², fertilization 40kg N and 83 kg P).
